12/29/06: Show #60 1st Mariner Arena Baltimore, MD
Next to the last day of the tour and were all running around like high school kids on the last day of school. Only instead of getting our year books signed, its our tour books and its chaos and we all run from dressing room to dressing room finding each of the 16 or so band members to put their John and Jane Hancocks on it. The end of the tour is always filled with a different kind of excitement than the beginning of the tour as we all share our plans the upcoming year and see where our schedules might overlap so we can support each others projects and just say hi and stay in touch.

12/30/06: Show #61 & #62 Verizon Center Washington, DC
Last day of the tour, ladies and gentlemen, and I am feeling good. Its been a great tour and these last two shows here in DC have really proven that. The crowds really sent us off on a high note. One fan in particular grabbed my attention. It was a little girl probably no older than 2 wearing a ZO2 pink girlie T-shirt that hung over her like a dress. She was clapping, smiling and enjoying the show like all the rest of the people including her mom and grandmother who were there with her. It made me stop and think once again that you really are never too old or young to enjoy the wonders of music.
After the evening show, the cast and crew all got together for one last hoorah. We celebrated having performed more shows than days and doing it quite successfully. It was a perfect way to end the tour and have an early New Years celebration but the only thing on my mind now is starting the ZO2 ball rolling once again and getting out there, playing out live and promoting the hell out of our new album Aint It Beautiful. So to all you loyal fans who have been keeping up with me and my journalz for the past 10 weeks, I will see you all real soon.
